7 April, Wednesday,
Woke up at 9 something and prepare ourselves. Wee, been excited for the whole night =) Drizzling in the morning and we get ourselves an umbrella. An ordinary umbrella cost us HKD 49 (RM 21) =.='
Our first meal in Hong Kong was 'Tim Hou Wan Dim Sum Zhun Mun Dim' (Tim Hou Wan Dim Sum Expert) that introduced by darl's brother. It is quite near to our hotel. We asked for a map from hotel and get a brief direction from them, so we started our exploration in Hong Kong by WALKING. Honkers really use to walk in fast speed and you can see crowd everywhere. While i was still curious looking at surrounding, the one next to me started to make noise. "hungry lah.. can't wait to taste the food leh! faster faster!" You have it right, my lovely darl is making noise. ;p

Finally we were in front of the shop to join the queue. We were happy because it was just a short queue. However, we were disappointed when we got our number, 47 and the waitress was calling until 6 only. WHAT!?! So long to go :'( Then we were thinking of changing our plan. While we think, we realised that the number run very fast. After few minutes, the waitress was calling 45 already. So we assumed that most of the people walked off after they got their number and thought that long time needed. We were still the lucky ones. 47! 47! Yahoo! Me! Here! 2 Pax! We walked into the shop and shocked with the space. It is so small. Only can fit 30 pax and below I guess. We were seated at a tiny table right beside the kitchen =.=' where the cook are busy preparing the dim sums.
We ordered 5 dishes at first and added one after we saw from others. I forgot to take the picture of Chee Cheong Fun. Too hungry perhaps ^^

"Siu Mai" - The filling is tender and taste fresh, you won't feel oily after eating it.

"Forgot about its name.. hehe.." - mmMmMMmm

"Har Gao" - Ouh, this is my favourite. The shrimp is so fresh and chewy! thumbs up!

"Shou Pei Guk Chao Siew Pao" - Definitely Darl likes this. Soft and fluffy outside with tender fillings.... *drooling*

"Gu Fak Loh Mai Gai" - The glutinous rice was soft and the chicken were well marinated by soy sauce i guess :)
A filling breakfast cost us HKD 92 (RM40 @ 2.3). Definitely we will revisit if there's another chance ^^

Due to this is our very first day in Hong Kong, we decided to hop onto Rickshaw Bus and go around Hong Kong. It costs us HKD 50 per pax but actually we just got down at 2 - 3 spots because we used up quite some time to wait for another bus to come.

This time we decided to go for a light dinner. We realised about this 'Che Zai Min' stall earlier. It seems like not bad as there were advertisement sticking all around the stall. We ordered a 'Che Zai Min with 3 dishes (HKD 32). Surprisingly the noodle was nice. What a hidden gem! Besides this, i did order a "Wun Zai Chi' as well but nothing to shout about.
Again, we went back and paid another HKD 10 each for entrance fee. There, we started to pick our lucky horse. I pick number 2 because of the name attracted my attention, 'Wut Yiok Xiu Zi (energetic guy)' and darl chose number 9. We bet HKD 50 and... and... and... We won HKD 115. haha.. What a lucky day! Although not much but still.. we were lucky ^_^ I was so happy and satisfied but darl keep mumbling there, "if i knew i will bet more." haha.. no doubt that this is my cutie darl..
We went to Admiralty Station to take MTR to Mongkok. Dinner that night was just random pick. Whichever is full with crowd and we will go :D We decided on a shop with 'Siu Lap' at Soy Str which i forgot the name. It's start with 'Kowloon....' and just opposite Hui Lau Shan Dessert shop. Both of the rice were not bad.
After this, of course we went to Hui Lau Shan for dessert as it's just opposite! We ordered 'Mango + Aloe Vera'. It's refreshing. Then, we passby the snacks stall and we bought fish ball and octopus. Owh.... the fishball were bad.
Finally, our system were getting down after whole day of bus riding. Back to hotel for battery recharge :)
Day 3 coming up soon...
*Lv*
-still in exciting mood. eheheheh-
